I’m a die hard fan hâm mộ of the No-Sebum Mineral Powder và will probably never stop raving about it. The sản phẩm got me through a lot over the years & it wasn’t until recently that I found other uses for it but it’s a sản phẩm I love dearly và will probably continue buying until the day it gets discontinued, but I really vì hope it never does.

For years, I was an oil-blotting paper hoarder. They were with me all the time and I would nội dung them if anyone asked, I sometimes even offered because sharing is caring. Then the No-Sebum Mineral Powder came along & changed everything. I became less dependent on my oil-blotting paper & the ones I had in my purse remained untouched và eventually forgotten.
Now, the Mineral Pact was something I told myself I would try over và over but really never got around to lớn since I automatically repurchased the Mineral Powder each time my supply ran low. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to review this since it’s probably been reviewed to death but I figured I would tóm tắt my thoughts on it anyway since I already took photos of the sản phẩm back in the summer.
I don’t think it’s possible for me khổng lồ get through this without repeatedly mentioning the loose powder so you’ll have khổng lồ bear with me.
Right off the bat, the packaging is one of the obvious differences. The packaging is without a doubt better than the loose powder version since there are no lids to screw on & off. It mở cửa and closes with a single click so it’s definitely easier to lớn use. It’s slightly larger but still very light and portable. I believe this did get a makeover but it still retains a similar feel to lớn the original. It comes with 8.5g which might seem very little khổng lồ some but Innisfree powders always last me a long while. I don’t recall how much I got this for exactly but it was around 6,000KRW, it originally retails for 10,000KRW. Prices will vary depending on where you look but I imagine this one is incredibly easy khổng lồ obtain.
“A pressed powder for soft and shine-free skin”Like the loose powder, this can be used so many different ways, for example:
as an eye primeroil-absorbing powder on both hair and skinas a finishing powderas a makeup fixerClick to enlarge for full ingredient list.Compared lớn the Mineral Powder, the Mineral Pact is packaged extra with a plastic lid that separates the untouched powder from the puff. The puff is not something I use if I’m applying makeup at home, it’s more of an on-the-go applicator. It’s very ordinary, nothing to lớn write trang chủ about. In fact, I find it difficult to lớn use, at times depositing too much of the sản phẩm on areas that I want to apply it to.
The Mineral Pact comes with a mirror which instantly makes life easier. You would know if you’ve ever used the loose powder & had to lớn look for one.

In the bottom photo, the Mineral Pact is applied over bare skin on the left side và over foundation on the right. For those who want to lớn mattify their makeup or simply apply this over skin, make sure your skin is moisturized beforehand because it will definitely accentuate any existing dryness like in the photo above.
The loose powder gives me a very soft, translucent finish whereas I find this pressed powder does somewhat leave a white cast unless I am super light handed with it. It also causes makeup to appear cakey if I use the puff it comes with or if I apply too much with a brush. The sản phẩm reminds me of the Luna Pro Photo Finisher Blur Powder sans SPF protection. I prefer swirling a makeup brush in the powder và giving it a few taps before applying the hàng hóa over my makeup but this is something I can only bởi at home since I don’t carry brushes around when I’m out.
If I were to menu the pros & cons of this product, it would definitely come out lớn be the better option in most aspects. And naturally you would expect me to like this more because it can be easily considered the better hàng hóa between the two. It’s convenient, serves the same purpose but I don’t think anything can come between me & the No-Sebum Mineral Powder. Sure the loose powder has its shortcomings, such as powder flying everywhere & leaving its trace on other products, but I still love it, even if I have khổng lồ screw on & off lids và scramble for a mirror or reflective surface if I’m out.
In short, this formula controls sebum production but can apply a bit white & be tricky to lớn use at times.

I don’t really dig pressed powders.
